Park Mark
Evolving Industry Standards
The Park Mark accrediatation operated by the British Parking Association in partnership with police forces, has long been recognised as a symbol of safety and security in traditional car parks. I Love Meet & Greet was proud to have been awarded the Park Mark at Gatwick annually from November 2012, until 2025 when the British parking association removed the scheme from meet and greet operators.
The Park Mark scheme is now being refined to focus on fixed-location car parks rather than meet and greet operations, which involve vehicle handovers in public drop-off areas rather than secure compounds. As part of this shift, the British Parking Association has advised that the Park Mark trademark should no longer be associated with meet and greet services. In response we have removed references to Park Mark and the Safer Parking Scheme from our website.
While Park Mark has been a valuable benchmark, it was never originally designed with meet and greet services in mind. The change reflects a broader industry recognition that a new kind of solution is needed—one that better reflects the way services like ours actually operate, and one that customers, airports, and insurers can all trust. This new scheme is currently been formed and we will ensure all customers experience high quality, safe, secure airport parking.
